On Saturday, 17 February from 13:00 to 16:00 there will be a rally against the right in front of the Mining Museum. If you don’t want to go to the rally location alone, you can join the demonstration from Platz des Europäischen Versprechens (to the left of the town hall) to the rally location at 12:00!
THE CALL
„The right-wing normalisation and the growing support for the AfD are endangering democracy in Germany. It is time to stand up and stand up for an open, democratic, pluralistic and solidary society. We are more – We must be visible and audible – The time to act is now!
The published plans of the AfD and the New Right would mean the deportation of millions of migrants and politically unwelcome people from Germany. They show very clearly what threatens if the AfD gains political power.
Migrants are already feeling the threat from the right on a daily basis. The NSU series of murders, racist and anti-Semitic attacks such as those in Halle and Hanau, hunts such as those in Chemnitz, right-wing chat groups … all of this has ensured that too many people no longer feel safe.
The demonstration in Bochum on 19 January 2024 with around 15,000 participants and the millions of demonstrators against the right across Germany are encouraging. They show that the democratic majority is not prepared to accept this.
However, the fight against the right and for a better society is only just beginning. We must get involved and actively shape this society.
Together for a good life for all!
Come to the rally!
All together against AfD and the shift to the right!
For an open, democratic, diverse and solidary society!
In addition to speeches and information stands, you can also look forward to a colourful and loud cultural programme with Sebastian 23, music with Koma Havîn, Die Disponauten and Canis 809 and much more. “
