Rethinking history

Shaping diversity and democracy

Visit our events, discuss with our guests and with us how we can strengthen democratic structures and diversity in our community.

In particular, we invite you to rethink the topic of resistance. The history of resistance against Nazi injustice has been repressed since reunification and has become a discredited topic. Art, culture, academic research and politics can do much to counter the misappropriation of the concept of resistance by the extreme right and by religious and nationalist fanaticism.

Together with our guests, we invite you to rethink the history of resistance “In the struggle for human rights” (Fritz Bauer) in lectures, readings, seminars and workshops.
