With Martin von Berswordt-Wallrabe
This is where people who are committed to human rights have their say – politically, literarily or as activists, less often as academics. In a discussion lasting around 45 minutes, we want to discuss the respective topics, personal motivations for their commitment and specific political concerns. The title refers to 10 December, the day the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was published.
Martin von Berswordt-Wallrabe is a political consultant and communications manager specialising in corporate and association communications, brand positioning, strategic lobbying and support in situations of particular public and media attention.

With Dr Thomas Galli
In this podcast, Thomas Galli wants to talk to his guests about the meaningfulness of our punishments and our penal system. According to Fritz Bauer, our penal system dates back to the time of the apes. Should we overcome it, and what could a humane approach to criminal offences look like? Thomas Galli talks about this with victims, offenders, prisoners, relatives and academics, among others.
Thomas Galli has been involved with our criminal justice system for over 20 years. He has worked in various prisons and now works as a lawyer specialising in criminal law and the penal system.
