Lecture and discussion with Dr Irmtrud Wojak

The life of the controversial lawyer Dr Fritz M. Bauer has recently been the subject of sensational films and media reports. Irmtrud Wojak, author of the recently republished biography of the fighter for human rights, talks about his life and work. She writes: „After 20 years of historical research in the footsteps of the lawyer, I am still discovering new details and visualising Bauer’s life has become more and more of a personal encouragement to me.“ Her lecture will focus on the causes and motives behind Fritz Bauer’s thoughts and actions, his plea for justice and the duty to disobey and resist.

An event organised by the Hailfingen – Tailfingen Concentration Camp Memorial with Gegen Vergessen – Für Demokratie e. V. Admission free. There will be a guided tour at 4 pm.
