The film HANS – EIN JUNGE IN DEUTSCHLAND will be shown on 19 June 2016 as part of the German Historical Museum’s Sohrab Shahid Saless film series. The film is based on the book Die blaue Stunde (The Blue Hour ) by Hans Frick, who wrote the screenplay. H. Frick was a friend of Dr Fritz Bauer, to whom he created a stirring memorial in his 1965 novel Breinitzer oder die andere Schuld. „They did it and they will do it again at any time if they are allowed to“ is the novel’s decisive sentence. It expresses the extent to which the Nazi regime shaped Hans Frick’s life. A touching film.
