Excursion to the "National Onderduikmuseum" (Underwater Museum) in Aalten

The Bochum History Workshop and the Fritz Bauer Forum invite you to an excursion to Aalten (Netherlands) on Saturday, 11 October 2025.

The programme includes a guided tour of the „National Onderduikmuseum“ in Aalten

The house in Aalten, which is now home to the National Onderduikmuseum, housed a military command centre during the Second World War. The rear building served as a hiding place for Jews, for people who resisted and for people who were threatened with being sent to Germany for forced labour.

Registration is required at geschichtswerkstatt@bo-alternativ.de by 7 October 2025.
