Solidarity with Chile – Matinee

We are supporting reconstruction efforts following the devastating fire in the Valparaíso region.

Works of art will be auctioned. All proceeds go to the reconstruction!

In March of this year, the Valparaiso region experienced the worst fire in its history. More than 130 people died and thousands of families lost all their possessions. The non-governmental organisation EPA(Escuela Popular de Arte), whose mission is to teach music and art to the children of the region, is working to rebuild the neighbourhood where the school is located.

We are in solidarity with this work, which we want to support more. On Sunday 9 June from 12 noon, we are therefore organising a matinee with music, art, a flea market, information about the situation in the region and Chilean and Latin American specialities.

Two bands will be performing free of charge: Eisheiss, an energetic classic rock band with a wide range of musical genres, and Grupo Manzanar, Latin American classical and modern music. On the same day, a donated acrylic painting will be auctioned off.

Admission is free and all proceeds from the event will be donated to the EPA.

Please note: Unfortunately, the group Eisheiss cannot perform at short notice due to health problems!
