Information on
The exhibition „The Rosenburg – The Federal Ministry of Justice in the Shadow of the Nazi Past“ is part of the reappraisal of the history of the Ministry of Justice.
Since 2012, a team of researchers led by historian Professor Manfred Görtemaker and lawyer Professor Christoph Safferling has been working on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (BMJV) to investigate how the Ministry of Justice dealt with the Nazi past of its employees, personnel and factual continuities, the prosecution of crimes in connection with the Holocaust as well as amnesty and the statute of limitations in the 1950s and 60s with the „Rosenburg Project“.
The results of the final report „The Rosenburg File“ were first presented in a travelling exhibition in 2017. It is divided into nine sections, which are represented by steles and multimedia content. They approach the respective topic through biographies or original statements, among other things.
The aim of this exhibition is to present the findings of the „Rosenburg Files“ to a wide audience and thereby raise awareness of the historical injustice. We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition.
This will be followed by a reception with catering.
