Information on

With Dr Anja N. Stuckenberger and Dr Irmtrud Wojak

It is not easy to remain capable of speaking and perhaps also to develop a new vocabulary in order to analyse, evaluate and, if you like and perhaps even the most important thing, to formulate in a way that creates peace.
The Wednesday Circle meets every month – if possible – to read, discuss and sometimes even watch films. To open up the discourse and reassess it. To get into dialogue with each other and to better understand history(ies).

Recommended reading for 7 February:

Moshe Zimmermann and Moshe Zuckermann, Thinking of Germany… A dialogue in Israel. Neu-Isenburg: Westend Verlag, 2023, 304 pages, ISBN: 978-3864894022

We will focus on these two chapters in particular:

Here and there – how to remember?, p. 136ff

German solidarity – with a democratic Israel, p. 290ff

Anyone wishing to consult the book can do so, for example, in the library of the Fritz Bauer Forum.
