Natalie von Wistinghausen is a human rights lawyer specialising in international criminal law and represents victims of international crimes before courts in Germany and The Hague. In the „Zehn Zwölf“ podcast, she talks about her cases involving genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity – often with complex international involvement – and about how this work has changed in recent decades. She says that although criminal proceedings fulfil key functions, they are often not enough to meet the needs of the victims.
