Fritz Bauer – Special focus of the research journal Social Movements

In December 2015, the „Special Focus on Fritz Bauer“ of the research journal Social Movements was published with new historical and legal research results on the lawyer’s work as well as current film reviews (H. 4, 12/2005, Lucius & Lucius, Karlsruhe).

For the first time, Bauer’s work is primarily placed in the context of a historiography and political development orientated towards human rights, which is supported by civil society and brings Bauer’s social understanding of law to bear.
The special focus on Fritz Bauer was edited by PD Dr Ansgar Klein and Prof. Dr Thomas Leif.
