Dr Fatih Kaya | Current challenges posed by anti-Semitism and racism in the educational context

Dr Fatih Kaya teaches in the Department of Sociology of Migration and Education at TU Dortmund University. He wrote his doctoral thesis in the research training group „Jewish-Muslim lifeworlds from a social science perspective“ at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Ruhr University Bochum. His latest publication deals with identity formation in the context of Jewish and Muslim experiences of discrimination.

The lecture is the conclusion of a multiplier workshop organised by the „Demokratie leben!“ project , in which participants are trained to independently implement the first module of our workshop programme. Places for the workshop are limited, but Dr Kaya’s lecture can be attended free of charge and without prior registration, even without attending the workshop.
