A serious and light-hearted reading

Why is philosophy more important to us than we sometimes think? What progressive ideas has it produced over two and a half thousand years? What can it tell us in the context of the often irrational events in today’s society? Why does dialectical thinking help?

Noem and Myop, the protagonists of the trilogy “On the Order of the World”, march cheerfully through the history of philosophy from Ancient Greece to the present day. Author Günter Pohl presents aspects from the three volumes: “The Man with the Bin Bags” (2022), “The Girl on the Egg” (2023) and “Man is Development” (2024).
