Stories of resistance from the Ruhr region

In times of a shift to the right and fascists in German parliaments, the stories in this volume once again emphasize the importance of resistance against these movements. In Germany, the memory of resistance to National Socialism is usually associated with places like Berlin or Munich, but few people think of the Ruhr region. But resistance was also practiced here, often with dramatic consequences.
